  • The Teachers' Resource Guides provide suggested lesson plans, tour transcripts and reference materials to support learning standards for elementary students. Lesson plans adhere to Rhode Island Learning Standards in the Arts and English Language Arts. Examples include "Architecture at The Elms" (Grades 5-8) and "The Breakers and the Gilded Age" (Grades 5-8).

  • RILINK is an interactive, web-based union catalog of Rhode Island school library materials. The purpose of the union catalog is to facilitate resource sharing among member libraries. The union catalog software can indicate the shelf availability of items in member libraries and provides for interactive interlibrary loans (ILL).

  • Teachers of all grade levels and subjects, geographers, community leaders, business people, and parents belong to the RI Geography Education Alliance, established in 1991 to increase and improve the teaching of geography in RI schools. The RI Alliance is supported by money raised in RI, and matched by the National Geographic Society. The Alliance is part of a network initiated by the National Geographic Society which now includes all fifty states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Over 100,000 members are now part of the Alliance Network.
