  1. NEW BROWSING COLLECTION AVAILABLE IN PERIODICALS AREA
Come on by and treat yourself to some fun leisure reading in our newly expanded Browsing area. New magazine titles are arriving daily. Based on suggestions from students, faculty and staff, we have added 37 new general interest magazine titles to the Browsing area, located to the left of the Circulation desk as you enter the front of the library. From Architectural Digest to Vogue, including Gourmet, Paris Match, Rhode Island Monthly, and Spin, this wide-ranging collection should have something for everyone. The complete list of old and new titles (82 of them!) is posted in the library.

  3. NEW ADDITIONS TO THE JSTOR DATABASE
Recently JSTOR released 47 new journals, the fourth and final group of journals in the JSTOR Arts & Sciences II Collection. There are now 122 Arts & Sciences II titles available to participants in this collection. The Arts & Sciences II Collection is a multi-disciplinary collection containing journals and disciplines that complement those in the Arts & Sciences I Collection. The collection includes titles in existing JSTOR disciplines such as History, Economics, and Asian Studies, as well as core titles in additional disciplines, such as Classics and Archaeology. The McKillop Library also subscribes to the Arts & Sciences I and the Language & Literature Collection from JSTOR as well. All together these three collections offer access to 288 full-text academic journals in full page image form through PDF files. To access JSTOR go to https://inside.salve.edu/mckillop/databases_a-z.cfm.
  4. NEW REFERENCE TITLES
Several new works have recently been added to the McKillop Library Reference Collection. New additions include:
    • The Dictionary of Shakespeare
    • The New Biographical Dictionary of Film
    • The Theological Dictionary of the New Testament, 10 volumes
    • Tudor England, An Encyclopedia

New Reference works can be found on a cart outside Room 130 in the Reference Area. Take a look next time you are in the library.

  5. ADDITIONAL CONTENT AVAILABLE IN BUSINESS SOURCE PREMIERE
Recently EBSCO completed all of the processing for the full back files of Harvard Business Review. This means that all indexing, abstracts and PDF images have been completed. Through Business Source Premier McKillop Library users now enjoy expanded back files to October 1922. The world's largest full text business database, Business Source Premier provides full text for more than 2,800 scholarly business journals, including full text for more than 900 peer-reviewed business publications. Coverage includes virtually all subject areas related to business. This database provides full text (PDF) for more than 300 of the top scholarly journals dating as far back as 1922. To access Business Source Premiere or any other McKillop Library database go to https://inside.salve.edu/mckillop/databases_a-z.cfm.
