Use the HELIN online library catalog to identify and locate the books and journals in the library. You can search for specific information by author, title, call number, or you can search by subject.

To help with subject searches use the Library of Congress Subject Headings, a multi-volume index of terms used in the library's catalog. It is located in the Reference area on the first floor of the library. You may use a variety of subject headings to find information on your topic and each one will provide a slightly different point of view. Below are some examples of terms which you could use to find information about different aspects of international relations.
